The Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) art centre has opened at a new location in the city’s former shipyard, neighbouring the new Reffen street food market. The 7,000m2 centre is dedicated to art installations. During the autumn, CC presents a major solo exhibition by Carsten Höller, a German-Belgian artist renowned for incorporating elements from playgrounds, zoos and amusement parks into his installation ark, often juxtaposing them with scientific investigations and experiments. ARKEN presents a wide and dazzling array of Pablo Picasso’s best works in the upcoming exhibition created in close collaboration with Musée national Picasso-Paris.
