Classic concert venues
Some of Copenhagen’s grand classic concert halls are among Europe’s newest and finest venues. They also often host jazz and popular music events. The Danish capital has no less than 4 symphony orchestras and a number of period music ensembles.
DR Concert Hall
Classic concerts and popular music events are featured at Copenhagen’s grand new DR Concert Hall designed by Jean Nouvel. Copenhagen’s grand waterside Opera House features two stages. Operas are performed by the Royal Danish Opera in concert with the world’s oldest symphony orchestra, the Royal Danish Orchestra. Info and tickets here.
